Extra Innings Youth Foundation was founded in 2000 by Ed Lyons and Len Milcowitz. Over the past seven years, Extra Innings has developed programs which include the introduction of baseball activities while simutaneously fostering academic improvement, spiritual guidance, and assisting young adults to become self sufficient in making life choices.
Operational funding is primarily derived from both participation fees and charitable contributions. Existing and/or planned facilities include classrooms, tutoring areas, a computer center, baseball fields, batting cages, bullpens, training facilities, and even a clubhouse. |
