The "At-Bat" Academic Program is targeted towards students ranging from the 4th to 8th grade. It is comprised of after school tutoring in math and reading comprehension followed by evening participation in baseball fundamental training (Grades 4-5) and the Winning Inning Baseball Academy (Grades 6-8). It also includes baseball operations/work study and spiritual enhancement (optional).
This is a 4-day per week curriculum consisting of:
•Tutoring (all four days)
•Baseball Training/Participation (two days)
•Baseball Oriented Work/Study (two days)
Students are given the opportunity to earn scholarships based on their individual financial need. On going enrollment is contingent upon:
•Maintain minimum grade point average
• Meet character/attitude/behavior and sportsmanship requirements
• Completion of work study programs
• Sharing of test and report card performance with tutors
